Amadea Cares Helps Little Boy from Sumba Getting His Smile Back
Amadea Resort & Villas celebrated the 1st anniversary of its Amadea Cares program by putting the smile back on the face of another child in need.
Amadea Resort & Villas proudly celebrated the 1st anniversary of its Corporate Social Responsibility program on Valentine’s Day last month by putting the smile back on the face of yet another child in need. For the past year Amadea Cares has focused on giving back to the local community by partnering with Bali Smile Foundation to finance craniofacial surgeries.
Little Erfan Bulu from the remote island of Sumba in East Nusa Tenggara was the most recent recipient of craniofacial surgery performed in conjunction with the anniversary of Amadea Cares. This 3 year old boy was born with a sizeable tumour between his eyes and his impoverished parents could not afford treatment. Fortunately, Bali Smile Foundation was able to arrange the necessary medical treatment for Erfan that will enable him to grow up just like any other child in his village.
